Sunny

Children living in a group home know that the world beyond its walls keeps moving without waiting for them. In the middle of their repetitive days sits a battered old Nissan Sunny 1200, but to them it is far more than scrap metal in the yard. Once they climb inside, imagination can turn the seat into a cockpit and a nonexistent road into anywhere they need to escape. Sunny cannot erase loneliness or uncertainty about the future, but it gives the children a small place where their dreams belong entirely to them, at least until they have to open the door and step back outside.
