Meitantei Conan Movie 26: Kurogane no Submarine

Engineers from around the world gather at an offshore facility near Hachijo-jima to activate Pacific Buoy, a system linking police security cameras internationally while testing a powerful new facial-recognition technology. Conan visits the island with his friends, then learns that a Europol employee has been murdered by Gin.

The Black Organization moves against the facility and kidnaps an engineer with critical knowledge of the system, while the new technology threatens to connect identities that have remained hidden for years. For Conan, the case endangers more than a security project; it could give the Organization a way to match childhood faces with adults and expose secrets directly connected to Haibara. Beneath the sea, facial recognition becomes more dangerous than any weapon.
