The Survey Corps returns to Shiganshina to reclaim Wall Maria and finally reach the Yeager family basement, where Eren believes his father left the truth so many people have died seeking. The district appears suspiciously empty, and it soon becomes clear that Reiner, Bertholdt, and the Beast Titan have prepared a careful ambush. The battle splits between protecting the horses, opening a path, and stopping enemies with overwhelming power while every casualty removes another option.
