Ryuu no Haisha

In a nation protected by an immense dragon, special dentists devote their lives to keeping the creature's teeth free from dangerous organisms. Newly appointed dentist Nonoko Kishii has already accepted the strange certainty that accompanies the job: every dragon dentist is shown the manner of their own death.

During a war with a neighboring country, Nonoko discovers an enemy soldier named Bell emerging alive from one of the dragon's teeth after being killed. His impossible return is said to foretell disaster. As Nonoko takes the confused young man under her care, the two are drawn into a crisis that forces them to confront war, fate, and what it means to live while knowing death is waiting.
