Princess Sara

Kind, intelligent Sara Crewe arrives at a girls' boarding school in London while her wealthy father works abroad. Her warmth and imagination make her popular with many students, but her comfortable life collapses when news arrives that her father has died and his fortune is gone.

With no family or money left, Sara is stripped of her position as a student and forced to work as a servant under the harsh headmistress Miss Minchin. Hunger, humiliation, and cruelty test her every day, yet Sara refuses to let poverty define her.
