Ikkyuu-san to Yancha Hime

Ikkyuu is given a difficult task when a spirited young princess refuses to behave as the court expects. Calling herself by the boyish name Tsuyumaru, she prefers rough play to refined manners and even swings a wooden sword at Shogun Yoshimitsu Ashikaga.

Before her fearless behavior causes serious trouble, Ikkyuu must use patience and his famous wit to reach her. Rather than simply forcing the princess to obey, he has to understand the stubborn child and find a clever way to teach her how to act without crushing the lively personality that makes her who she is.
