When Loid learns that Operation Strix may be reassigned to another spy, a cooking contest at Eden Academy looks like the perfect chance for Anya to earn a Stella Star and prove that his mission is making progress. The judge's favorite dish, however, cannot be recreated from a recipe alone, so the Forgers travel to the snowy Frigis region to taste the real thing. Their simple family vacation quickly goes off course when Anya, through her usual mixture of curiosity and bad luck, becomes entangled in a military conspiracy capable of reigniting war between Ostania and Westalis. With Loid's espionage, Yor's lethal skills, and Anya's secret telepathy all colliding, a trip for dessert becomes another fight for world peace.
