Tenkuu no Shiro Laputa

Sheeta carries a mysterious crystal pendant that makes her the target of government agents, but a pirate attack on the airship holding her captive gives her a chance to escape. Her fall brings her to Pazu, a young worker who believes the legendary floating castle Laputa truly exists and dreams of reaching it just as his father once tried to do.

The two soon learn that Sheeta's pendant is directly connected to Laputa and that the government is pursuing the castle for the power hidden within it. With unexpected help from the very pirates who first attacked her captors, they race across the sky to reach Laputa before its legacy can be turned into a weapon. The closer they come, the more Sheeta's forgotten connection to the castle and its lost civilization begins to emerge.
