Mimi wo Sumaseba

Shizuku Tsukishima loves reading and writing, but she has no clear idea what she wants from her future. Her curiosity is stirred when the name Seiji Amasawa keeps appearing on the library cards of books she borrows, and a strange cat later leads her to a tiny antique shop and, eventually, to Seiji himself. He already has a dream and is working toward becoming a violin maker, while Shizuku worries that she has no talent she can trust. Inspired by a cat statuette called the Baron and the stories surrounding the shop, she decides to test herself by writing. Through her growing bond with Seiji and the pressure she places on her own work, Shizuku begins learning that a dream is often built through imperfect first attempts.
