Uta and her friends receive an invitation to perform at the Super Miracle Idol Festival, the greatest idol celebration in the universe, held on mysterious Aiai Island. What should be a dazzling stage filled with songs and smiles turns into disaster when a strange monster attacks and throws the island and the wider world into danger.

The girls are suddenly sent back through time, where the key to restoring the present appears to be connected to an ancient goddess and Tera, a mysterious girl who openly dislikes idols. Joined by fellow Pretty Cures, Uta must discover why Tera rejects the very thing she loves and turn a broken festival into a live show capable of reaching across time.
