Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau

When first-year Himari Kino hears upperclassman Yori Asanagi sing with a band at the school welcoming ceremony, she is overwhelmed by the performance and enthusiastically tells Yori that she loves her. Yori, almost completely inexperienced with romance, takes the confession literally and soon realizes she is genuinely falling for Himari. Then the misunderstanding surfaces: Himari meant that she loved Yori's voice and music. Rather than retreat, Yori decides she wants to make Himari fall for her as a person and begins spending more time with her, often playing guitar on the school rooftop. Through music, embarrassment, and feelings that do not grow at the same pace, the two girls discover that one word can carry very different meanings, and that understanding a heart is far harder than simply speaking from it.
