Kidou Senshi Gundam: Cucuruz Doan no Shima

During the One Year War, White Base is sent to a remote island to investigate a hidden Zeon presence. The mission collapses when Amuro faces a skilled pilot and later wakes without the Gundam among children who should never have been living near a battlefield. They are protected by Cucuruz Doan, a former Zeon soldier who abandoned the war and chose responsibility for the lives around him. Amuro first sees him as an enemy hiding both a secret and the location of his missing machine, but the island reveals another kind of courage: refusing the conflict itself. When Zeon forces arrive to erase what remains there, Amuro must recover the Gundam and protect people who tried to escape both sides.
