Mawaru Penguindrum

Kanba and Shouma Takakura live alone with their beloved sister Himari, whose illness has brought her closer to death than either brother can accept. When Himari collapses during a trip to the aquarium, she dies briefly before a strange penguin hat returns her to life. The miracle comes with a condition: an entity speaking through Himari orders the brothers to find something called the Penguin Drum if they want to keep her alive. Three invisible penguins accompany them as the search leads through a diary, strangers, and events that initially seem unrelated. Each thread, however, circles back to one idea they cannot escape: the fate that bound this family together may be the same force threatening to tear it apart.
