Gakuen Basara

The warriors of Japan's Warring States era have been moved to a very different battlefield: Basara Academy. Conquering the country no longer means taking castles, but winning sports, elections, and school rivalries. When student-council chairman Hideyoshi Toyotomi is suspended, the empty seat sparks another struggle for influence. Masamune Date and Yukimura Sanada lead the competition in their own ways, while Ieyasu Tokugawa, Mitsunari Ishida, and other familiar rivals pursue plans of their own. The setting and weapons have changed, but old alliances and historic grudges survive in exaggerated school form, and these famous leaders have lost none of their appetite for victory.
