Kizumonogatari I: Tekketsu-hen

Before the supernatural incidents that will come to define his life, Koyomi Araragi is still a mostly ordinary high school student. During spring break he grows acquainted with Tsubasa Hanekawa, who tells him a rumor about a beautiful blonde vampire wandering the city.

In an abandoned train station, Araragi follows a trail of blood to Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade, a legendary vampire whose limbs have been severed and her power stolen. Instead of running, he chooses to save her by offering his own blood and loses his humanity in return. Awakening as her servant, he learns that becoming human again requires recovering the limbs taken by three supernatural hunters. One compassionate decision turns his spring break into the beginning of a struggle over what remains human inside him.
