Teacher Nano Saikawa attends a marriage meeting arranged through her family and meets a man introduced as Souichirou Takamiya. The date goes unexpectedly well, but after growing intimate with him she discovers that he is not her intended partner at all. He is Souji Kuga, Souichirou's younger brother and one of Nano's own troublesome students. Souji deliberately impersonated his brother because he wanted a chance to be with her and insists that his family would accept the relationship. For Nano, the problem goes far beyond deception: a romance between teacher and student threatens her job, reputation, and both of their futures. Souji refuses to back away, however, continually pushing against the boundary between his role as her student and the adult feelings he claims to have.
