When the super-powered Bug Gang begins terrorizing Blue City with a string of strange thefts, Volt and the rest of Miniforce receive a new assignment as elite super cops. Their mission is to protect the city's people, recover what the thieves take, and stop each criminal before the damage spreads.

The apparently silly robberies gradually reveal a larger scheme led by Acteon. As the Bug Gang's attacks escalate and powerful machines enter the fight, Miniforce must rely on new police equipment, teamwork, and their determination to protect Suzy and everyone living in Blue City.
