Sand Land

After war turns the world into a desert, water becomes more precious than gold, and a greedy king controls the supply while humans and demons alike suffer from thirst. Sheriff Rao refuses to accept that this is the only possible future and sets out to find the legendary Phantom Lake. To cross the wasteland, he asks the demon king for help and is joined by the king’s son Beelzebub and the elderly demon Thief. Their unlikely journey carries them through dragons, bandits, and the king’s own army, while every new discovery suggests that the water crisis hides a far more deliberate injustice than simple drought.
