Laala Manaka lives in a world where girls dream of receiving the ticket that grants entrance to PriPara, a dazzling realm of music, fashion, and idol performances. Her school forbids elementary students from taking part, and Laala is convinced that she is better suited to cheering from the audience anyway.

A lost ticket unexpectedly pulls her into PriPara, where the powerful voice she was always told was too loud becomes her greatest gift.
