Komada Jouryuujo e Youkoso

Koutarou Takahashi, a young journalist with little interest in whisky, arrives at Komada Distillery treating his assignment as another article to finish with minimal effort. There he meets Rui Komada, the young president who inherited the family business after her father’s death and is struggling to keep it alive in an unforgiving market.

Rui’s real ambition is to revive KOMA, the family’s signature whisky that disappeared after disaster and financial hardship halted production. The recipe is not the only thing missing: the distillery needs money, equipment, and public faith. As Koutarou searches for a story worth writing, he begins to understand that the bottle Rui wants to bring back is more than a product—it is a piece of family memory and a place she refuses to let disappear.
