Given reaches the final stage of a music competition, but having only one original song leaves the band uncertain about what comes next. Mafuyu begins studying music more seriously so he can write something new, and his search brings him closer to Ugetsu, the violinist whose complicated history with Akihiko has never truly ended. Haruki, meanwhile, hides his own feelings for Akihiko behind quiet patience, while Akihiko remains trapped between a painful past and a future he does not know how to choose. As the band prepares to perform again, creating new music becomes inseparable from whether these three can finally stop circling the emotions they have been afraid to face.
