Jiisan Baasan Wakagaeru

Shouzou and Ine Saitou have spent nearly sixty years together in a rural Aomori village, tending their apple orchard and living simply despite never becoming wealthy or even taking a honeymoon. After a storm, they discover a golden apple growing on the tree they planted on their wedding day. They eat it, and the next morning awaken in the young bodies they had decades earlier.

The couple accepts the miracle with a calmness that shocks their children and grandchildren, using their restored youth to try things they never had the chance to enjoy before. Their appearance, however, does not change the fact that they have already shared an entire lifetime. Between sports, games, and old memories, new bodies give them another chance to look at a love that remained constant even while everything else changed.
