Imawa no Kuni no Alice

Ryohei Arisu feels directionless and spends his time with friends Karube and Chota trying to escape a reality in which he sees little place for himself. After an enormous burst of fireworks lights up an ordinary night, the three awaken in an almost empty Tokyo and discover that they have entered the Borderland. Survival requires playing deadly games whose rules and cruelty change every time, with victories granting only a limited extension of life. Under pressure, Arisu realizes that his observation and reasoning can save people in ways he never expected. Each game, however, brings him closer to a more dangerous question: who created this world, and what will it cost to return from it?
