Golden Boy

Kintaro Oe once studied law at the University of Tokyo, but after learning everything he wanted from school, he left and began cycling across Japan. He has no interest in a permanent career or settling down. Instead, he moves from one temporary job to another, cleaning offices, helping programmers, and taking whatever work might teach him something new. His overeager manner and foolish first impressions often make people, especially the women he meets, underestimate him. Yet Kintaro's curiosity, intelligence, and remarkable ability to learn from experience repeatedly reveal a very different man beneath the surface. For him, the road itself has become the only university he needs.
