Akubi Girl

Ruru is a slightly precocious first-grader with a secret crush on the boy next door, Itoshi. Her quiet plans for romance gain an extremely enthusiastic helper whenever she yawns: Akubi, a magical girl who pops out of a vase and can use her tambourine to transform herself and grant wishes.

Akubi is determined to play Cupid for her best friend, but her magic rarely works as neatly as intended. Every attempt to bring Ruru and Itoshi closer creates a new misunderstanding or comic disaster, forcing Akubi to try another spell and proving that even magical shortcuts cannot make young love simple.
