Meitantei Conan Movie 21: Karakurenai no Love Letter

A bombing tears through Nichiuri TV while the Satsuki Cup, a major competitive karuta event, is being filmed. Heiji Hattori and Kazuha Toyama are trapped inside the burning building until Conan Edogawa reaches them in time, but no one knows who planted the bomb or why.

Soon afterward, Kazuha meets Momiji Ooka, Kyoto’s high-school karuta champion, who boldly claims to be Heiji’s fiancée. As the two girls prepare to face each other in Hyakunin Isshu, the current holder of the Satsuki Cup title is found dead near Kyoto, with karuta cards left around the scene. Conan and Heiji begin to see a connection linking the explosion, the killing, and a secret buried in the world of competitive karuta.
