Hi no Tori: Eden no Hana

Romi and her lover George flee a devastated Earth in search of a place where they can begin again, eventually settling on the distant planet Eden. The paradise they imagined is instead a barren world barely suited to human life, turning their attempt to build a home into a daily struggle against isolation and a hostile environment.

When George dies in an accident, Romi is left with their son Cain and enters a long hibernation in the hope of surviving. Her journey does not follow an ordinary path from there. Time and distance reshape everything she thought was permanent, carrying her across generations and worlds as she searches for the place that can truly become home.
