Chocotto Sister

When Haruma Kawagoe was a child, he made a Christmas wish for his mother to recover and for him to someday have a little sister. Years pass and he almost forgets the prayer until Christmas brings a gift that cannot be returned: a young girl named Choco, accompanied by paperwork identifying her as his sister.

Haruma suddenly becomes responsible for someone who knows very little about the world and treats nearly every experience as something new. School, neighbors, food, clothing, and holidays all become lessons in what it actually means to be an older brother rather than simply the recipient of an old wish. Over time, Choco becomes a natural part of both the neighborhood and the unconventional family forming around them.
