San Shaonu

Objects cherished long enough can awaken souls of their own, and some eventually take human form. Qingdai, the spirit of a royal umbrella, is entrusted with guarding a vengeful sword spirit, but she fails to stop her prisoner from escaping in search of revenge.

To keep that hatred from igniting a war, Qingdai leaves the royal pavilion with a young craftsman and enters a world she has barely known beyond the palace walls. Among wandering object spirits and the humans bound to them, she must correct her mistake before one spirit's grievance becomes a disaster no one can contain.
