Saikyou Tank no Meikyuu Kouryaku: Tairyoku 9999 no Rare Skill-mochi Tank, Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareru

Rud is the tank of a hero's party and possesses the greatest defensive strength anyone has ever recorded, yet he is expelled after a failed labyrinth raid when the party leader blames him for the loss. Rud was never risking his life for fame in the first place; his real goal is to find a wish-granting treasure that might cure his beloved younger sister.

On the road home, he rescues a girl who reveals the true nature of skills he had assumed were useless. His enormous defense hides rare abilities that make him far stronger than his former companions understood. Rud returns to his sister but does not abandon the labyrinths. This time he enters them on his own terms, with people who trust him, turning the role others dismissed as “just a shield” into the strength that holds an entire team together.
