Tetsuwan Atom: Chikyuu Saigo no Hi

While helping Professor Ochanomizu with space exploration, Atom discovers a wandering planet used as a graveyard for broken robots. Among the heaps of discarded machines, he rescues Bemu, a former robot soldier who has grown tired of fighting. The two quickly form a sincere friendship.

Then the garbage planet begins drifting toward Earth. A collision would cause catastrophic destruction, yet stopping it may demand a terrible sacrifice from the very friend Atom has just saved. Atom must search for a way to protect Earth without betraying Bemu's wish to live in peace.
