Bocchi the Rock! Movie

Hitori Gotoh can play guitar exceptionally well but can barely manage ordinary conversation. After years of practicing alone in the hope that music will somehow bring her friends, she meets Nijika Ijichi, who desperately needs a guitarist for Kessoku Band, and Hitori is pulled into the first place where she cannot simply hide behind a screen.

Practicing with Nijika, Ryo, and Ikuyo and eventually standing before a real audience puts Hitori's social fears under pressure unlike anything she has experienced. Every tiny step feels enormous, from holding a conversation to finishing a song onstage. Through comic failures and the rare moments when the band truly locks together, Hitori begins discovering that music is not a way to escape from people but a way to reach them.
