Toji no Miko

Since ancient times, young women known as Toji have fought hostile beings called aradama, wielding special swords while attending government schools that combine military training with ordinary student life. Kanami Etou is a talented student selected for a tournament that brings together the country's best Toji.

During the final match, something completely unexpected happens: Hiyori Juujou attacks the organization's leader instead of her opponent. Kanami chooses to help her, and the two go from promising students to fugitives hunted by the very institution they served. The attempted attack is tied to secrets about the Toji's past and the true nature of the aradama, and every revelation makes it harder to tell which side is actually protecting people.
