Baraou no Souretsu Recap

In an England torn apart by the Wars of the Roses, Richard of York grows up worshipping his father while carrying a secret about his body that has filled him with shame and isolation. His greatest wish is to see the House of York take the throne, but war instead brings him the devastating loss of the person he regarded as his light.

Richard is repeatedly drawn to a gentle stranger in the forest, unaware at first that the man is Henry VI, king of the rival House of Lancaster and the enemy tied to his father's death. Their connection becomes impossible to reconcile with the bloodshed between their families.

As Edward of York rises to the crown and Warwick's rebellion reshapes the conflict, Buckingham encourages Richard to turn his pain into ambition. By the time Henry is captured, Richard faces a choice that severs the last refuge he had from the violent path opening before him.
