Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie: Over the Rainbow

Uranohoshi Girls' High School has closed, and Dia, Kanan, and Mari have graduated, leaving the younger six members of Aqours to discover what the group can become without its seniors. Their first problem arrives immediately when the former Uranohoshi students are diverted to an isolated branch campus instead of the school they expected to join.

To prove that their classmates deserve a proper place, Aqours must show the school board what the students of Uranohoshi can contribute. At the same time, the graduated third-years vanish during a trip to Italy, prompting Chika and the others to follow their trail overseas.

The search becomes a journey about separation and independence. As the nine girls confront family expectations, uncertain futures, and the fear of moving on, they must decide how Aqours can keep shining even when its members take different paths beyond the rainbow they once chased together.
