Synopsis

Kenta reunites with his childhood friend Marina at a Pokémon Center, eager to test how much their skills have grown. Their battle is interrupted when Team Rocket agents Bashou and Buson activate the Crystal System, a machine designed to attract and trap Electric-type Pokémon.

The legendary Raikou answers the artificial signal and is captured while trying to protect other Pokémon. Kenta, Marina, and the reserved Junichi unite to free it, facing a weapon that turns Raikou's own power into the means of its imprisonment.
