Mahoutsukai ni Narenakatta Onnanoko no Hanashi

Kurumi Mirai has spent years working toward one goal: becoming a magician. As one of the finest students at Rettoran Academy of Magic, entering the elite Magumi class seems almost guaranteed. Instead, the selection results leave her stunned. Despite her outstanding record, she is rejected and placed in the ordinary course while other students move on toward the future she wanted.

There Kurumi meets classmates carrying disappointments of their own, until their unconventional homeroom teacher, Minami Suzuki, makes an unexpected promise: she will teach this class magic anyway. What first feels like a humiliating detour becomes a second chance. Kurumi must reconsider what talent, failure, and becoming a magician really mean as she searches for a path that the academy's rules never showed her.
