Kanon (2006)

After seven years away, Yuichi Aizawa returns to the snowy town where he once spent his childhood holidays, moving in with his cousin Nayuki and her mother. Although the streets feel strangely familiar, nearly every memory of his earlier visits has vanished, leaving only vague unease and promises he can no longer recall.

Yuichi encounters several girls whose lives are bound to that forgotten past, including the energetic Ayu, the mysterious Makoto, the distant Mai, and the frail Shiori. As he becomes involved in their troubles, memories begin to return, revealing miracles and losses that the quiet winter town has kept buried.
