Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 2nd Season

Maomao returns to her duties in the rear palace after solving conspiracies that have made her far more than a servant with unusual knowledge of herbs. She assists Jinshi with palace matters and continues caring for the consorts and their attendants, noticing details others routinely overlook. Then a merchant caravan arrives carrying goods and visitors that immediately make her suspicious.

The incidents appear unrelated at first: peculiar products, uncomfortable coincidences, and small shifts inside the court. Maomao sees a pattern and begins tracing where it leads while political tension surrounding the imperial family continues to grow. Her knowledge of medicine and poison can still save lives, but the danger now stretches across a wider network of interests. Every answer she uncovers brings her closer to secrets whose owners would much rather remain unseen.
