Fate/Apocrypha Recaps

The Great Holy Grail War divides seven Servants and their Masters into the Red and Black factions, while Ruler Jeanne d'Arc is summoned to oversee a conflict already slipping outside its intended rules. At the center of the struggle, a nameless homunculus escapes the fate prepared for him, receives a new life as Sieg, and forms a bond with the Rider of Black, Astolfo.

As the war expands, the Greater Grail changes hands and the simple clash between two teams gives way to competing ideals about humanity itself. Astolfo and Shakespeare look back over the alliances, betrayals, sacrifices, and battles that carry Sieg and Jeanne from the opening struggle toward an increasingly personal confrontation over what the Grail should be allowed to accomplish.
