Turkey!

Bowling brings Mai, Rina, Nozomi, Sayuri, and Nanase together in their small high-school club. Mai can effortlessly score a turkey, three strikes in a row, yet somehow always ruins the throw that follows. Rina, meanwhile, is frustrated by how casually the others seem to accept losing. Their argument ends in a match meant to decide whether Rina will remain in the club.

After Mai lands her three strikes, the impossible happens and the girls find themselves in the middle of a battlefield during Japan's Sengoku period. They eventually realize that recreating the match may be the key to returning home, though finding anything resembling modern bowling is hardly the first problem in the 16th century. Between surviving and meeting people of the era, Mai has to master the throw she always misses when their way home finally depends on it.
