Mecha-ude (TV)

Hikaru Amatsuga's ordinary life ends when he rescues a sentient mechanical arm named Alma, which attaches itself to his clothing and introduces him to the world of Mecha-Ude, mechanical beings that bond with humans while possessing wills of their own. Alma quickly becomes a target of the Kagami Group, which views these beings as weapons to own and exploit.

Hikaru is taken in by ARMS, an organization that tries to protect Mecha-Ude, and meets Aki Murasame, a fighter bonded with two mechanical arms who becomes his reluctant bodyguard. When a brutal attack leaves Aki near death, a power Hikaru does not understand suddenly awakens. Joining ARMS does not make him an expert overnight, but it gives him a clear reason to learn: protect Alma and his new allies while uncovering the truth behind the arms that changed his life.
