Zatsu Tabi: That's Journey

New manga artist Chika Suzugamori receives three rejections in a single day. When her editor suggests drawing from her own interests, she discovers an obvious problem: almost nothing in her life exists outside manga. Frustrated, she posts a casual online poll asking followers where she should travel, then actually follows the result and boards a train without a detailed plan.

The first trip does not magically solve her career, but it gives Chika a feeling she had forgotten while staying shut inside. She begins wandering through different parts of Japan, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends, discovering that an unplanned journey can offer things no perfect itinerary would. The places she visits are not merely “material” for a future manga. They put something back into her own life before she ever decides how to draw it.
