Touken Ranbu Kai: Douden Chikashi Haberau Monora

After a mission nearly destroys the unit under his command, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro asks to step down from his position as the saniwa's attendant. Heshikiri Hasebe is appointed in his place, yet the role he once wanted does not feel easy to accept while the man before him carries the weight of failure in silence.

When Hasebe is ordered to the Battle of Bitchu Takamatsu Castle, he asks that Yamanbagiri join the squad alongside Tsurumaru, Mitsutada, Doudanuki, and Ookurikara. In the past, Hashiba Hideyoshi prepares to flood the castle while events at Honnoji unfold at the same time. As two pieces of history intersect with unresolved tension inside the unit, the mission becomes a prelude to the events that will later bind these sword warriors to the burning of Honnoji.
