NHK ni Youkoso!

Four years after dropping out of college, Tatsuhiro Satou lives almost entirely inside his apartment. He has convinced himself that a secret organization called “NHK” deliberately creates shut-ins and keeps them isolated from society, a conspiracy that is easier to believe than facing his own fear of the outside world.

Then Misaki Nakahara appears and claims she can cure him if he follows her unusual program. Between an attempt to make a game with an old acquaintance, financial trouble, dubious schemes, and people struggling with problems as serious as his own, Satou is repeatedly forced toward the one thing he has spent years avoiding: other people, and responsibility for the life he is living.
