Lupin III vs. Meitantei Conan: The Movie

Conan Edogawa races after what appears to be another theft by Kaito Kid, only to discover that the criminal using Kid's name is Arsène Lupin III. Lupin's real target is the Cherry Sapphire, a rare jewel he has been ordered to steal while Fujiko's life is held over him as leverage.

Conan's pursuit collides with Zenigata's hunt for Lupin, the visit of Italian singer Emilio Baretti, and a secret transaction involving a rare Vespanian mineral with dangerous military applications. As the case grows beyond a simple jewel theft, detective and thief find themselves investigating the same conspiracy from opposite directions, forcing Conan and Lupin to decide when outwitting each other matters less than stopping the people behind the deal.
