Wataridori to Katatsumuri

Unpei Mochizuki makes a mistake at work that causes serious trouble for a client, leaving him convinced that running somewhere nobody knows him would be easier than returning to normal life. At that moment he meets Tsugumi Nagisa, a picture-book author who travels with her dog in a car she has turned into a home.

Unpei joins her on the road, and the two begin moving without a strict schedule through campsites, small towns, and unfamiliar landscapes. Car living makes every day simple but different, giving him distance from work and routine. The journey offers no magical solution, only time and space to learn how to move forward instead of remaining stuck.
