Gloria Private Academy gathers promising young people in music, art, and sports, but its music department uses something stranger than ordinary training. Students compatible with the talent of historical composers receive a “Gift” carrying part of that genius and are then known by the composer’s name.

The young man who becomes “Beethoven” was more fighter than musician until an injury reveals his compatibility. At the academy he meets students bearing names such as Mozart, Chopin, and Liszt, and discovers that music can be as competitive as any physical match. To reach the top, he must create a sound that belongs to him rather than merely inheriting the talent of someone who lived centuries ago.
