9: Ruler's Crown

Shiromitsugawa has spent years searching for something that might make the ordinary city stand out, but the event that finally changes it is nothing anyone wanted. An earthquake shatters a sacred relic at a local shrine, and Kakeru Niimi soon discovers that people across the city have awakened supernatural abilities linked to mysterious objects known as Artifacts.

Not every new User intends to wield that power harmlessly. When a series of killings points toward someone with abilities the police cannot handle, Kakeru joins Miyako, Sora, and Noa, each carrying powers of their own. Their hunt for the culprit becomes entangled with growing trust, romance, and the mystery of why the Artifacts appeared at all, turning a familiar city into the center of a supernatural murder case.
