Virgin Punk: Clockwork Girl

By 2099, Somadea medical technology has made most injuries and illnesses treatable, but the same artificial bodies can grant physical abilities far beyond ordinary flesh. Illegal modifications have created a new class of criminals, and the government answers them with a bounty system that allows licensed civilians to kill wanted Somadea users and collect payment by delivering their brains.

Ubu Kamigori survives inside that system as a bounty hunter, chasing targets in a world where mercy has little market value. After returning from one job, she finds a man tied to a painful part of her past waiting at home: Mr. Elegance. His reappearance pulls at the life she has tried to hold together and forces her toward questions about memory, identity, and how much humanity remains when bodies can be rebuilt like machines.
